Her father was killed when the B-36 bomber he was in crashed 6 days before her birth, even though she never got to meet him she missed him dearly every single day, it is great comfort that she has now finally gotten to meet him and wrap her arms around him. LeAnn loved and cherished being a grandmother and took great pride in her granddaughter either from telling stories from 20 years ago, when she got to “spoil her first” by helping with her after she was born, to attending soccer games in the cold and sleet, watching many school plays and packing her wallets full of pictures that she carried with her everywhere she went. There are no words to describe how much she loved being a grandma.LeAnn was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by those who loved and knew her. As much as we will miss her, we are at peace knowing that she is no longer in pain and suffering. We take great joy knowing that she will be dancing the night away with Elvis.A huge thank you to the hospice staff at St Luke’s hospital, as difficult as her passing was, your care, compassion and empathy made an extremely difficult situation just a little easier. We will always be grateful for you.
