Juliet Pilapil Lesmeister, 54, of Hiawatha, Iowa, passed away, Saturday, June 1, 2013 in her home.Funeral Service: 11:00 am Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories with Pastor Aaron Telecky officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Wednesday at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.Family includes her husband, David; children, Keith (Molly) Lesmeister of Decorah, Melissa (Peter) Awad of Decorah, Sarah Lesmeister of Decorah and Amanda Lesmeister of Granada, Spain; grandchildren, Celia, Franklin and Nora Lesmeister and Wyndsor, Summit and Brighton Awad; and six siblings.Juliet's kind heart and smile was loved by all. Her hospitable spirit openly welcomed everyone and she loved spending time with friends and family. She also enjoyed tending to her flowers and plants, sitting under her pergola, eating fruit, taking walks, reading, drinking tea, watching movies, and playing scrabble, all alongside her loving husband, Dave. Juliet's genuine heart saw the best in everyone. She loved children and was like a mother to all. Her patience, love, and gentleness was experienced and will be carried on by her husband, four children, six grandchildren, and her friends and co-workers. Her warmth and love will be greatly missed.
