Barbara Meeks Fuller, 50, of Cedar Rapids passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 2 to 5 PM at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Memorial service will be on Monday, February 25 at 11 AM at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories with Pastor Tye Male of New Covenant Bible Church officiating.Barbara Meeks Fuller was born on June 19, 1962 to Buel and Rosemary Victorine Meeks in Cedar Rapids. She was united in marriage to Gordon Fuller on October 25, 1986. Barbara worked for the CR Schools for 12 ½ years as an Associate Teacher. She enjoyed being part of the children’s church at New Covenant Bible Church and assisted with artwork and set design. Barb was a talented glasswork artist. She will be forever missed.She is survived by her loving husband, Gordon; son, Alex Fuller of Chicago, IL; daughters, September and Theresa Fuller both of Cedar Rapids; a grandson, Aiden Fuller; mother, Rosemary Meeks of Marion; siblings, Sally (Jim) Meeks-Johnson of Indianapolis, IN; Bill (Teri) Meeks of Cedar Rapids; Roger (Jan) Meeks of Tacoma, WA; Debra (Jim) Gawne of Phoenix, AZ; and Theresa (Ray) Meeks-Mosley of Iowa City.Barb was preceded in death by her father, Buel.Memorial donations may be directed to the Hall-Perrine Cancer Center.
