Memorial

Karen L. Fisher, 72, of Marion passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at the Willow Gardens Care Center, Marion.  Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.  Rev. William B. Harnish will officiate with private family inurnment at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.          

Karen is survived by her children; Skip (Eileen) Fisher of Cedar Rapids, Eric (Teresa) Fisher of Tucson, AZ, and Connie (Roger) Petersen of Marion; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and a brother Jeffrey Kramer of Cedar Rapids.     

She was preceded in death by two sons Greggory and Timothy Fisher, parents Irvin and Ellen Kramer, sister Delores Nanke, and brother Michael Kramer.          

Karen was born on March 6, 1941 in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of Irvin and Ellen (Coppess) Kramer.  She worked for the Dex Phonebook Company in sales for 10 years before her retirement.  Karen enjoyed reading; traveling and spending time with her family, grandchildren and her animals.
