I just wanted to send my deepest condolences to the Styers family. My father George Benning and Jim were extremely good friends. They worked together at Rockwell and traveled to South Bend several times over the years to cheer on the Irish. Jim was a true friend to my Dad and my entire family appreciated all of times he visited my Dad in the hospital.
We will be keeping Jim and his entire family in our thoughts and prayers.

Mrs. Styers & Family -

I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I know my Dad really appreciated his friendship, as did all of the Benning family! The only thing he seemed to love more than Notre Dame football was his beautiful wife Therese & his family! And that is saying a lot, because he was a true Domer!
