I am so sorry for your sudden loss. I have known Dave for years through a mutual friend, and he always made me laugh with his humor! He often spoke of his love for Walker to our group of friends. I saw Dave had a good heart, and I often knew of good deeds he did for others, sometimes anonymously. We had wished each other happy birthday many times, as we shared the same date! I know of so many people who cared for Dave, and he will be missed so much by all of us. My sympathy and prayers go out to you.

I am so sorry to hear about Dave's passing. I love Dave and spent many of the best times of my life with him yelling at me for them.
Dave has always had a special place in my heart. Our relationship was in many ways similar to that of brothers, the way we would fight and make up...Sometimes daily, But there was always mutual respect and caring between us.
Dave has never left my thoughts or heart in all these years. I am honored to have gotten to know him as I did. He will always be Sharkey in my heart.
Thank you, Dave for all the great times and friendships you made possible.
I feel so fortunate to have had the chance to talk to him when I stopped by the shop a few weeks ago.

My deepest condolences to Dave's family and friends. He was a great guy. For months he had been trying to go to 2 or 3 meetings a day. I would visit with him virtually every time I saw him at the Gratitude Club. He was trying his very best. He and I had had lunch a few times where we discussed some very serious issues. I always appreciated the depth of his character and his thoughtfulness. Now he is with God. Rest in peace dear soul.

I was just shocked when mom called me to tell me David had passed away. It hit all of us very hard. INSERT INTO guestbook VALUES (It also was Dad's birthday) I know how much you all loved him and what an incredibly close family you are.
I have so many fun memories of our families getting together on Friday or Saturday nights. I remember playing pool with David and I was always amazed at what a great pool player he was.

Dave gave the sensation that he was on the same playing field as you, that he was never better, or any worse that you.
Dave was a stand up guy who would do anything for you, to help anyway he could. He would visit you in the hospital if you stubbed your toe.
I'm sure Dave continues to put a smile on God's face as they walk and talk together.

Dave was a very unique person. He was an enjoyable to have a conversation with everytime he came into caseys.
