Dennis Dean Kuker, 65 of Monticello, died June 19, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids.Surviving are his wife, Deb; his children, Steffanie Skeate of Minnesota; Nanette Shoap-Loude of Minnesota, Michael Kuker of Sumner and Angel Dietz of Lime Springs; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; brother, Ronnie Kuker of Dayton, OH; and a sister, Karen Johnston of Ionia.He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jerry.Dennis was born December 26, 1946 in New Hampton, Iowa the son of Nelson and Norma (Avery) Kuker. He was united in marriage to Deborah E. Tholen in 1983 in Langworthy. He was employed with John Deere before starting his lawn care business, D&D Services. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming and the outdoors. His greatest enjoyment was his beloved dog and friend Lacy. He will be greatly missed.Memorials in Dennis’ honor may be directed to the family.
