Evelyn is survived by two sons, Terry (Connie) O’Connell and Jack (Dianne) O’Connell and a brother, Tom (Carol) Gilmore. She was also blessed with grandchildren; Scott, Heather and Chad, a nephew Jerry (Dory) Dilger and 8 great grandchildren.Evelyn is remembered as “The lady with the lights in her hair every Christmas”. She worked at Eagle Food Center for 25 years before retiring to Florida where she enjoyed life long actives of bowling, golf, and parties with martinis often saying “Remember when it’s after 4 its time to pour”.She lived the last of her years at home with her son Terry his wife Connie finally losing her battle to Alzheimer’s and is now at peace. We would like to thank Hospice for taking great care of her for years at the home she loved. Special thanks to Annette and Joel who treated her like their mother and to her 3 great-granddaughters Gabriella, Cheyenne and Jackie for all they sacrificed for their beloved Nana. All that knew her will remember her as a woman full of life and laughter. She touched many lives and made them better.Evie’s wishes were for no services and no mourning. Her wish was that all her friends and family rejoice in their own way and know she and Red are dancing in Heaven. She always told us to have a Party when she gets to Heaven.
