Don Shaw

Born in Vinton, IA
Born on Feb 22, 1938
Departed on Dec 9, 2012

Ruth and family: I've known Don for approximately 25 years. He always had time to visit with me being in auto repair business and his interest in cars and motorcycles. We always had a lot to get caught up on. In the last 15 years Robin was always there to get the job done after Don and I visited. My sympathies.

I express my sincere sympathy in your loss of a wonderful family member. I am honored that I had an opportunity to know Don. I send my condolences to you.
May God be with you - Sharon

I am so sorry to hear about Don's death. He worked on several of my husband INSERT INTO guestbook VALUES (Ray's) projects. He also helped us out when we were moving to a condo. He was a responsible and kind man. He will be missed.

Dear Donna and Don's Family.

I'm sure you all have many fond memories of Don that will be comforting to you at this difficult time.

Tom & I became acquainted with Don when we hired him for some electrical work. He and Tom shared an interest in cars. Don sponsored Tom as a member of the CRRAAC Car Club. During that membership we traveled on various tours with Don. We really enjoyed his personality. He was always so positive and low key. Very easy person to be around. It is such a shock to hear of his death.

Donna & Robin and the rest of the family, please accept our heartfelt sympathy.

Dani - Your PAC family is thinking of you and praying for your family during this difficult loss. You have our deepest sympathies. Peace be with you.

My thoughts, prayers and love are with all of the family. I will always remember Don as such a giving and caring person. He took such pride in all of his children and grandchildren. In every loss he never forgot his blessings. May the loving arms of our Lord lift you and comfort you in this time of grief. My deepest sympathy.

Our sincere sympathy to those that loved Don. Especially you, Robin, who I met through your Father. We still have the Green Shag carpet in our Cabin that Don so generously gave us when he did the wiring. He did a lot of wiring for us over the years and sometimes when it wasn't convenient to run a service call. What a great man to remember...and we will. We are sorry to not be able to come to the visitation as we have prior commitments. Know that we are with you in spirit and share in your loss. You are in our prayers.

Revelation 21:4 tells us
there is a 'great day
coming' with no more tears, death, sorrow,
crying and pain. Don,you

paradise someday. Lyle

We were sorry to read of Don"s passing. We first met Don and Ruth on a trip to France where Michele and our son Paul were participating in a Campus International program. We've since seen them occasionally and always enjoyed their company. They were a great couple.
