Robert Worley

Born in Lincoln, IA
Born on May 17, 1933
Departed on Apr 22, 2012

Bob and Char have always played a special part in our family. My dad Bud has worked for the Worleys for over 33 years and because of the great team of leadership the Worleys transposed my dad loved his job and going to work everyday, it trully made him happy. The amount of respect my dad had for Bob is infinite. My dad looked up to him as if he was his own father. Bob's legacy will make a lasting impression on our family and his kind heart and generous ways will forever be treasured. I know that Worley Warehousing could never be the same without Bob. All the values and great business ethics he has instilled into so many people will forever leave a imprint in our hearts. When I think of great people in this world I can trully say I knew one of the best. My deepest sympathy goes to Char a very strong and brave woman, may God comfort you with all the everlasting memories you shared.

Dear Char , Brandt and Blaine and families,
We will miss Bob our loved friend and neighbor. He leaves us with many wonderful memories of times we spent together. We will miss him so much.
We will be with you in thought and prayer on Friday.
With much love to you,
Carole and Aris

Dear Charlotte,

Helen forwarded Bob's obituary this morning & we were so shocked & sorry to hear of his death.

Please know you and the family are in our sincere thoughts & prayers. Bob was a wonderful devoted husband & father & will be sorely missed.

We love you!!!

I had the pleasure to work for Mr. Worley for four years at the Worley Logistics operation in Atlanta, GA. While our team did not get to see he and Mrs. Worley as often as our colleagues in Cedar Rapids, it was always special treat when they would come to town for a visit. I have always admired the great courage that Mr. Worley had displayed by starting a new warehouse business with a wife, three growing boys and no customers. I still teach Mr. Worley's "SQP" philosophy today in all twenty of our BSN Medical distribution centers around the world. I would like his family to know that even though he is gone, Mr. Worley will still be thought of often and fondly, by thousands of his former colleagues and friends.

Charlotte, thoughts & prayers are with you, and family. Will never forget how you & Bob were there for Dixie, showing her love & compassion. Praying you have the same bond of unity surrounding you at this time.

Char and Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Bob will be missed by many.

My deepest sympathy and know you are in my prayers. Those of us who knew Bob and had the honor of working with him will remember his kindness and the graciousness he showed to all of us. He cared for each and every one of us and blessed so many lives because of his concern. I feel blessed that the Lord allowed me to share a part of life's journey with Bob and his family. May the Lord keep you in his heart and comfort you.

Dear Char, Brandt, Blaine and families.
Our deepest condolences on Bob's passing. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time. With fondest regards.

A measure of a man is how his children turn out. I didn't know your dad well, but I know he must have been something special because the Worley boys are men of character and distinction, and you make your dad proud by all you do. Many blessings to you and your families at this special time.

Dear Worley family,

sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I enjoyed getting to know your folks when they were out at CRCC. Bob once scolded me for serving a "weak" drink- we had a good laugh over that one.
take care,
