I hope where you are that you are well and you have peace. It's hard to believe that this has all happened but I want you to know you were loved by many. As a soldier and a friend I have so many stories of our escapades that I will think of often and laugh. They will stay in my heart forever Randy.

Dave & Marita,
We are so very sorry to hear of the loss of your son. Our thoughts & prayers are with all of you.
Sincerely, Gary & Lezlie Havlik

Randy- you were one of the funniest and funnest guys I knew. On drill weekends I knew it would be a good time because you always made me laugh! You will be greatly missed. Rest in peace buddy.

We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Our prayers are with you.

To the Simonsen family---
So sorry to hear of Randy's passing. Haven't seen him in years, but remember our family get togethers on 26th and 3rd in Marion...always a character. May your memories hold you in comfort in the coming days and months. Randy, thank you for your years of service to our country. In sympathy, Treva and family

Our prayers and deepest sympathies with you and your family Beth.

Randy, I just saw you for Qs bday in May. It seem like it was yesterday. You really made my experience in Iowa one of the best. I cherished every moment of it. My first hike in Backbone State Park. My first grilled chicken with french dressing, puttig up Kate's bounce house for her bday. Oh there are so many more. Especially our matching EVOs and the prank calling. Love and kisses to you. You are gone but not forgotten.

Beth, my bestie, my sis, my mis******. lol. Its been over 10 years since I had the pleasure of meeting you. In that time, you have grown to be a strong wonder woman. Keep your head up and think of all the good times you guys shared. You have a huge piece of him in your heart. It will get better. Sometimes its to hard to take it day by day so try to take it minute by minute, I love you Beth. See you soon.

Randy RIP.

So very sorry for your loss. My prayers are with your family at this difficult time.

It is astonishing how large a void the death of a quiet man can leave in his family's world. Randy came into our large and diverse clan at a difficult time and managed to fit right in. Calm & self-possessed, he didn't seem the least bit shy. The only concern that I know he voiced was shortly after he and Beth began dating...that he might not have the patience necessary to deal with the little girls who were the center of Beth's world. That concern was unfounded. They came to love him as Beth did and, along with the rest of the family, they liked him tremendously. We will all miss him. To Beth, Katelyn, Piper, Garrett, Brenden; to his parents and sister, his extended family and large circle of friends, your Uncle Spencer and I extend our deepest sympathy, Auntie M.

Randy, It was an honor to have you as one of my soldiers, You always got the job done, I know you and Chris were the ones that started squad to all grow a mustache in Iraq. You will never be forgotten

Randy, You were a great soldier and a great man, it was an honor to serve with you, You will be missed my friend, and I will always remember your great sense of humor. Rest in Peace

Beth,
My deepest sympathies for your loss. It's something I can't begin to imagine but I want you to know you and your little ones, your family and his, are in my thoughts and prayers. May the Lord sustain you and the good memories help you through. God Bless.
Love, Anna
