Dearest Marg, Tim,Tammy, and Toni and your family...we send our sincere sympathy, our love and our prayers, for God's constant presence in the hours, days and weeks ahead. You folks have meant so much to us over the years and are sorry for your having to say goodbye, or maybe just "so-long" for now, to the special love of your lives, your husband, dad and grandpa.

To the Ruppert family,

Bob was our neighbor across the street and we've known him for 11 years now. He was a very friendly and loving man and I thought of him as my Grandpa. He was always out for a walk, trying to mow the lawn, watching the Cubs play, or trying to start conversation. He was a very loving and beautiful man and we have been very lucky to have been blessed with a person like Bob in our lives. He will be greatly missed. Many blessings to Marge and the family.

Tim and Family: Our sympathy and prayers to you all. May God continue to hold dear to you all of the precious, wonderful memories you have.

Marg & family,
Please except our deepest sympathy. Pastor Bob was truly an inspiration to so many and he was one of the reasons for us coming to Christ. His love of his Lord and Savior could not help but run over to all those he touched. With out a doubt he is with our Lord and enjoying "Life Everlasting" that only comes with that personal relationship that we share between ourselves and Jesus.
Thank You Bob for sharing the true Gospel with our family.
Love Ric, Lynette, Dustin & Cody

I will always remember how your face stubble scratched my cheeks as you kissed me Hello! The smell of your cologne when you told me a story. Your laugh when you told a joke. Most importanly, I'll remember the love I felt when you hugged me. Always your #1 grandchild. Love you, Grandpa.

To Dr.Tim Ruppert and family,

A chair now sets empty...
A husband, father, grandfather, or friend but most of all a CHRISTIAN'S memory will come to your mind. If you stand quiet and listen you can hear in the gentle breezes the laughter from days gone by. Knowing this will bring smiles to your faces and a peace to your heart. Knowing your loved one is in the arms of our Lord where there is no pain only comfort and love. He has made it home.

In Christian Love,
Cliff and Helen Cole

What a preciouis person Bob was! We so enjoyed the times he filled the pulpit at our church in Norway. He had such a wonderful sense of humor. Our sympathies to the family.

I have many fond memories of the times shared with this family. Bob was a fine man and it was a pleasure knowing him.

Marg & family,

I was saddened to here of Bob's death. In working in ministry with him as his Associate Pastor at First UMC, Fort Dodge, I learned a lot which I still apply to ministry as the lead pastor here at Sioux City's First UMC. Bob's laughter and humor were always present as we worked in ministry and his door was always open to help this new pastor. And not only was his office door open, but I enjoyed many visits with Bob & Marg INSERT INTO guestbook VALUES (and the yorkie) at your house. Amy INSERT INTO guestbook VALUES (my wife) and I are keeping you in our prayers and now, as I look back at now 24 years in ministry, I realize that Bob's ministry still touches others through me. Thank you, God, for the lessons I learned from Bob.

Tim,
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I know you are strong in your faith and that will get you through. Miss you and hope you are doing well.

Tim - I am sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. Miss you.

I only knew Bob for a little while. He did my pre-marriage counseling, and also wed my husband and I. He was so friendly and compassionate. He gave us some marital advice that I will never forget. He shared a few humorous moments as well. Within those few weeks that we had together I knew that he was a man of his word

Each day that passes doesn't get any easier. I have just returned from your graveside again and feel comfort only when I am at prayer by your side. You baptized me, confirmed me and helped me to build a strong foundation in the Lord. When HE returns to call forth HIS children from the grave, I know that your new body will join your soul which is already in heaven. I will always carry you in my heart. Thank you for being my earthly father as I can think of no one else that I would have ever wanted. We will take care of mother until her soul joins your soul in eternal life. I will never say goodbye Papa, just see you later my best friend. I love you so and the bagpipes of Scotland will always echo your honor!

Marg, Tony, Tammy, Tim and family, I was so sorry to see my buddy Bob's passing. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed his company - his unique humor and insight through all these years. I was so lucky to have met all of you, but I always smile when I think of Bob. My favorite customer.

Take care of each other and love to you all,
Kathy

Take care of each other

I have such fond memories of Rev. Ruppert. I remember the first time I met him, he was walking around the neighborhood. I used to run outside to chat with him when I saw him walking up the street. He made an impression on a lot of lives. He was a good friend and neighbor, we will miss him.
