Merridy and family-
Dana will be missed by so many. He was a wonderful friend to those around him. He was always there for the "underdog" and never hesitated to help those that needed it. I have very few high school memories that do not have Dana in them. My prayers are with you all.

Carrie, Brent, Suzanne and kids, Sorry to hear about Dana's passing. You and your family are in my prayers

Dear Reth Family,
My family is so sorry for your loss. Jacob, my son's classmate has lost a wonderful person and mentor in his life. I had occasion to work with Dana and Jacob in Cub Scouts and he was always happy to be there and thrilled when his son won the Pine Wood Derby. We can't say enough about how sorry we are.

God has wrapped his arms around Dana and embraced him. I am taking great comfort that God is watching over him and he is in a better place. A piece of him will always be with me and I will embrace fond memories of Dana and all the giggles and smiles he brought to me and my girls. He is a wonderful man who loved his children greatly and took care of those he cared about. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who knew Dana. He will forever be missed.

I hope fond memories ease your sorrow. I had not seen Dana since high school, but he was always the nicest guy and fun to be around.

The entire Reth family - I am so sorry about your loss. You'll be in my prayers.

I was shocked to hear to hear about Dana, I can't imagine the pain you are dealing with, and wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I remember which is surprising some of you know whyDana delivering is papers in his Moms car even though he was not old enough to drive, and those early morning talks and laughs about slam dunk. I will always remeber Dana as a good kid, and I'm very sorry for your loss. Shannon

You have been in our thoughts all day as we think of you and the pain that you are living with. Dana's death was a terrible shock to everyone. A tragedy such as this puts life in perspective. Your memories of the joy that he brought to your life and to the life of his children will always be with you. Though we haven't seen Dana is recent years we remember him fondly from his younger days when he gave you a "run for your money"; he provided us with lots of laughs. My deepest sympathies to Dana's family. Dana and I were friends in high school and I hold very special memories of our relationship. I have not talked to him since then but think of him from time to time.

To the Reth Family,

I am so sorry to see that Dana has passed on. I was shocked to see Dana's picture looking back at me in the paper yesterday. I graduated with Dana and Suzanne; Suzanne was actually one of my best friends in Junior High School. I have not seen either of them since high school, but the sorrow I feel for all of you is deep just the same. Keep Dana's memories close to your hearts, they will help in the days to come. Please accept my deepest sympathies during this trying time and know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

May God’s blessings be with you,
Carrie Hoover

The name Dana Reth brings back good memories. We shared a kitchen in home-ec at Harding. Lots of laughter and good times.
My sympathies to the family, I wish I knew the circumstances.

Merridy,

Our very deepest sympathy. We can't imagine Dana being gone anymore than we could imagine our sons passing away. In remembering the few fun times they had together so long ago, and those cute pictures we have of him, where did the time go.
We pray that God watches over and takes very good care of you at this very sad time.

Dear Family,
I was shocked, and saddened to read about Dana's death.
Dana, Brad Sarchett, and I lived together at CedarWood Hills back in 1987. I will never forget his infectious smile, or how much he used to like the band, Honeymoon Suite. I always think of him every time I hear one of their songs.
