Dennis Malloy

Born in Cedar Rapids, IA
Born on Jan 5, 1955
Departed on Jan 13, 2007

Dear Nathalie, Mallory, Morgan and Kelsey:
You are all being lifted up in prayer by so many, you've all touched many lives with your sweet spirits.
I remember Dennie from the fun birthday parties you used to have for Morgan. I was so blessed to be invited, mostly because Morgan and I share the same birthday! Dennie was fun and loving, so sweet to watch him with his then small girls. Several birthdays were doubly blessed, by helping make Morgan's birthday special, mine was made special too!
Again, praying for you all. May God shower you with His peace, grace and tender mercies.
Love, Linda

Dear Mrs. Malloy and family,
When I first walked into the room on the 2nd floor of the Fellowship Club, Denny was there to welcome me. He did that many times for many others. We will miss him. In life, and in death, Denny teaches the message of AA.
I pray that Denny and that you and your daughters find the inner peace we all deserve.
Sincerely, Kate Hladky

Nathalie, Mallory, Morgan and Kelsey,
My prayers are with you as you grieve the loss of your husband/dad. I pray that you find comfort, peace, and support in the love of Jesus. I first met Dennis long ago when we worked together at the fitness center, he was the only male employee and we girls enjoyed harassing him. We had many good times together and I valued his friendship. I also had the pleasure of meeting and becoming good friends with his bride, Nathalie. Dennis was hard working and full of energy, but he also had a good sense of humor and a huge heart. Dennis was most proud of his wonderful wife and daughters. I look forward to seeing Dennis again in heaven.

Dear Nathalie, Mallory, Morgan and Kelsey,
I know there are no words I can write to ease your pain. Please remember Denny was loved by many and was a great man. I had the privledge to work with Denny and get to know him through the CRFD. He talked fondly of his family. Denny also gave me great comfort when our family had to deal with a tough loss. Denny will not be forgotten, he will forever be remembered in my heart, as a kind, and caring man. Our family will be praying for you. God bless.

Dear Nathalie and girls...

Denny was such a blessing to be around!!! I spent many hours with him in the Fire Stations and loved every minute we spent together. May the LORD give you PEACE and BLESS all of you. My sincere condolences.

Dear Nathalie and girls,

I have much history with your husband/dad that brings laughter and joy to my heart. I would not be so bold to assume that Bill W. is me as it could be anyone since Denny knew so many people, but I do know that he was a hard working, fun man of integrity. I know he is now with the Lord, getting answers to some of the questions he and I pondered during our many conversations. I was blessed by knowing him, and will pray for you all during this time, and I look forward to fellowship with Denny in Heaven. May God grant you peace during your time of grief. God bless you all.

I only met you once when you and Denny came to watch Tom get his 25 year chip. when I met you that night, I felt like I had known you for a long time because that is how you made me feel. You are a kind and gentle spirit. Thank you for the prayers in spanish. There will be a day when I will have the pleasure of sitting with Denny in that big meeting in the sky. I want you to know that if you need anything, please give me a call.

Malloy Family,
I am a friend of Bill W. I had the privlage of knowing Dennis and his love of his familey.
He touched my heart and soul in September after becoming a first time Grandmother from all 3 of my kids in August I got the news September 1st from my oldest son Andrew that lives in VA that he has Lymphomia cancer. Being single and not alot of money that only friends of Bill W knew my situation, after a AA meeting Dennis met me outside the meeting and gave me his phone number and said when I felt the need to go out to VA to be with my son when treatment started he had flyer miles and would fly me out to be with him. He said to call and him and his wife would meet with me....
I am in tears as I write this just to let you know his soul was that of unique and the thought of those words were intense to my life in away I could never repay but to be there for others anyway I can...
God bless you the Malloy familey threw this hard time.

A friend of Denny's and Bill W.

Dustin, NaTica, and Marcia

Dear Nathalie,
I am praying for you and your three daughters.

I have very nice memories of Denny. We went to Washington together and shared some laughs. My fondest memory is seeing him riding bikes with his 3 sweet daughters on Indiandale Rd when I still lived in Cedar Rapids. I am holding you all in my heart.

My parents, Dick and Donna Senninger were friends of Dennis. They are both ill and unable to attend the services. They spoke highly of Dennis and I thought I would send condolences on their behalf. God Bless you and your family and know that friends will be there to help you.

Lynne Smith

To the Malloy family,
So sorry to hear of Denny's passing. You have my deepest sympathy and condolences. I knew Denny for many years from meetings at the Fellowship club. I had recently seen him just before Christmas at a meeting and got to say Hi to him. Denny and I came into the program about the same time and had many one on one talks. He was a very nice man and surely will be missed by all whose lives he touched. I regret that me or my wife Helen couldn't make it to his Funeral today but because of our work schedule it wasn't possible.

Our Sympathy, Steve and Helen Campbell

Dear Natalie&Family, I am deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Dennis. I apologize about missing the funeral because I always seem to be a week behind on reading the paper. Denny cared so much about you and the girls and worked so hard-maybe I instilled too much of that in Denny. This is a tragic loss of a great person and I feel so sorry for you. With deepest sympathy I wish you, the girls, and your family the best, Bob Miell

Dear Nathalie, and daughters Mallory, Morgan, and Kelsey, My thoughts and prayers go out to you in the loss of Denny. The love in his heart for his family was always evident. I only knew him through real estate but it is clear to me that he had a big heart for lots of people in CR. May God be with you as you face the days ahead. Vayas con Dios.

Dear Nathalie,
I was so sorry and saddened to hear about your loss. My heart and prayers go out to you and your girls. Please know, Nathalie, that I have been lifting up prayers to our Lord for you and your girls. Please draw near to Jesus, I know He will comfort you.
In His love,
Connie
