Richard L. Coffey, 57, of 2550 Indian Hill Rd. SE, died December 27, 2006 in his home following a sudden illness. Funeral Mass 10 AM Saturday at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Rev. Mark Osterhaus will officiate. Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 PM at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, where a vigil service will begin at 7 PM. Entombment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include sons Joshua Coffey of San Francisco, CA, and Benjamin Coffey of Decorah; parents Jack and Harriet Coffey of Galveston, IN; and a brother Scott O. Coffey of Myrtle Beach, SC. He is also survived by his many loving in-laws as well as several cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his wife Donna Ohleyer Coffey on June 27, 1998.

Richard L. Coffey was born March 22, 1949 in Seattle, Washington the beloved son of Jack O. and Harriet J. Weaver Coffey. He attended Santa Clara University where he received his BA in 1971, and later received his MBA in 1974. He was united in marriage to Donna Ohleyer on July 29, 1978 in San Francisco, CA. He was employed as President at Vigortone until 1998 and then became the Executive Vice President of PM Agriculture. He was a loving father, son, and friend to many and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
