We knew Gale through my sister, Lisa Paulos. Gale attended my wedding shower and handmade a beautiful afghan for my son, Cael. She was a dear friend to us and all of my family members. We will miss her and send our best to all of you.

I worked with Gale in the Sales Dept. at CRST as a secretary. She was a very intelligent and articulate woman, who was one of our best salespeople. She always had a kind word and a smile. I remember she got teased a lot because of the spelling of her name - the male spelling. But, she took it all with good humor. I'll miss her. God bless.

I became acquainted with Gale through my daughter Lisa Paulos. Gale and I had similar thoughts on many issues and enjoyed verbal sparring. She referred to me as her "Dubuque Mom". I appreciated her individuality and admired her courage. Merry Christmas Gale, it's sure to be a glorius one.

I worked with Gayle at CRST many years ago. She was very creative, humorous, and enjoyable to work with. My sympathy to her family. I know she will be missed. Joan Wilson

I was both surprised and saddened to hear of Gale's passing. She and I were great friends at UNI and as so often happens lost contact after graduation. I think she even lived with my parents for a while in Marion while I was still at UNI. I remember lots of great times with her and hope you will too.

I just wanted to let you know how sorry I was to here that Gale had passed away.
I had the pleasure of meeting Gale at 5.30 on a September 2003 morning as I was trying to deliver her paper. She was out waiting for me - adding to the frustration of the first day on the job jitters. She and I became fast friends and talked at least several days a week. I would often hurry up and finish the paper route just to got back and talk to her.
I will always remember Gale coming out, even in the bitter cold, in her robe and turban just to wish me a good day. We lost contact in 2005 when I quit the paper route.
Gale brightened up many mornings for me.
God bless your family as you celebrate her life.

OH MY I am so so sorry to hear that Gale is gone. I seen the sign in the yard and said WHAT HAPPENED...MY GOOD FRIEND IS GONE.
:
She had cancer and got better, I didn't know she got worse.
I delivered her paper for 5-6 years and she was so awesome to talk to in the mornings.
I will always remember Gale coming out, even in the bitter cold, in her robe, and her cat at the window just to wish me a good day. We lost contact in 2003 when I quit the paper route. Although when I took my boys to Jefferson I would see her now and then and we always waved to one another, even though we didn't talk she still brightened my day.
God bless her family and my thoughts are with you.
