Celebrate the Holidays

Since 1942, it has been a tradition at Cedar Memorial to celebrate the holidays. We hope you'll join us for another season filled with holiday music, thousands of lights, and beautiful decorations!

Support the Veterans Memorialization Program
Pre-addressed envelopes will be available during the Holiday Music Legacy Program (and in the funeral home office during regular office hours) for making donations to this new organization formed by Cedar Valley Detachment 99 of the Marines Corps League, the Linn County Veterans Affairs Office and Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. The program raises funds to facilitate the placement of headstones or markers at the graves of honorably discharged veterans who have gone without any memorialization for at least 10 years. This will include every cemetery located in Linn County.

Tree of Memories
At the beginning of December each year, we erect a "Tree of Memories" in the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum. You are invited to place a special angel ornament on the tree in honor of a loved one.

FREE 2019 Calendars
The 2019 calendar features photography of beautiful Cedar Memorial Park. FREE calendars will be available during the Holiday Music Legacy Program. They will also be available at Cedar Memorial offices and The Flower Shop during regular office hours.
