Cremation Memorial Options
Lawn Memorial
The lawn is the most manicured area in the Garden of Reflection and features the largest memorials. This setting is ideal for families who want a more traditional lawn burial, but still want to be surrounded by natural gardens. You may choose from a variety of bronze memorials that can be personalized in several colors and styles. A vase is incorporated into all lawn memorials.
Family Bench Memorial
Comfortable wooden benches give you a place to reflect and remember your loved ones. Memorials located near the Family Benches feature an oval personalized bronze plaque installed on a slant over an urn/vault receptacle. Low-growing flowering perennials and trees surround you as you relax on these welcoming benches.
Circle Garden Memorial
When you visit the Circle Garden, you can refresh your mind and your senses. Low-growing lemon thyme is planted in and around the memorials and emits a fresh scent when it is crushed under foot. Bronze markers mounted on granite stones incorporate built-in flower vases. There are many personalization options for these memorials.
Circle Columbarium Memorial
The centerpiece of the Circle Garden is a round columbarium finished in polished red granite. Urns are placed in individual niches and marked with personalized bronze plaques. When visiting this impressive structure, you look upon the beauty of the Garden of Reflection no matter which direction you turn.
Boulder Memorial
Indigenous fieldstones located along a meandering path near a creek, provide a natural surface for the placement of bronze memorial plaques. Inurnment is provided directly adjacent to each boulder. Native prairie grasses and perennial flowers, including daylilies and yellow sedum, provide a personalized background for these unique inurnment markers and memorials.
Walk Memorial
Small bronze memorials are placed on granite stones set flush with the ground along many of the walks in the Garden of Reflection. A natural limestone edging defines the area of tribute and contains thyme and other low-growing plants.
Pond Repose Memorial
Take time to remember and reflect as you stand before limestone outcroppings located near the east and west ponds. Cremated remains are placed in a self-contained bronze cylinder with a personalized bronze circle top and embedded directly into the limestone.
Reflection Ledger Memorial
Five large limestone blocks serve as enduring memory ledgers. Individual metal plates are mounted on a large bronze plaque on the limestone face. Inurnments are made in unmarked lawn areas behind the Reflection Ledgers. Flowers may be placed on stones in front of the ledgers, or placed in the ground.
