Sarah and I were best friends all through school, and it was hanging with me that she met my cousin Mike, and later became an Ohsman. I know that her two kids meant the world to her, and I know that when she loved, she loved all the way. I have not been in touch with her for many years, but she was a huge part of my childhood, and kept me laughing for many years, and for that I will always be grateful...I only hope that my little girl can one day have a best friend like I did.

Dear family, I am deeply saddened to hear of another passing from my fellow classmates, now it's Sarah. I went to Erskine Elementary School with her through Washington High School. She was adorable, tiny and had an awesome personality and memorable giggle! Too cute! We were close growing up but then I moved to Los Angeles and lost touch with her. I am very sorry for this magnificent loss of life as indeed she will be remembered by everyone. I pray for her children to take one day at a time and cherish every moment shared. It is a difficult time for you all so please be faithful, stay strong and be good to yourselves. Your mommy will watch over you and be your angel for life. We are all here for you should you need anything. As for you Brooke, please get in touch with me in Los Angeles since I live here. I have posted my e-mail address should you wish to contact me. God be with you all. I am so very sorry to hear of your loss as my heart and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. Fondly, Alexis Stevens (Ali) alexis.stevens@sbcglobal.net

My thoughts and prayers are with Sarah's family. I was shocked to hear of her passing. I jumped trampoline with Sarah for many years as well as going to Wash with her. We had so many great times together. She was a spark plug of a person who was always the leader of the pack. We lost touch over the years when I moved away but there is always the memories of the fun times we had together. The trips, the tree house, the trampolines. She will be missed.

Mark, Barb, and Family, I'm sorry we missed the vistation. I have a lot of fond old memories of Sarah with Mark running around your parent's house on East Post Rd. I only saw her a few time over the years but she never forgot those times and it was like picking up where we left off. Sarah had an infectious smile and I'm sure she'll be missed. Dear Family and Friends: Sarah was one fun cousin who I always loved to see each summer at Brownsville,MN at her parents cabin. I have great memories of us when we were kids. We would just look at each other and laugh all the time. It was in 2002 when I last visited her at her home in Toddville, IA. She never missed a beat while I was there. Once again, she really made me laugh. I will cherish the wonderful memories we shared. My heart and prayers go out to the family and all those who knew and loved her. With sincere sympathy, Tami (Rostvold) Bealert

All From the family, thank you so much for the wonderful notes about Sarah. I am Sarah's older sister Barbara. My brother Mark Fruechte and I came to see Sarah in May and were so disheartened to know she had just been diagnosed with cancer. She went thru radiation and chemo, and then passed, all within months. It is hard to believe, and I miss her very much. Sarah's children, Brooke and Jared have had such a loss. They adored their Mom. Thanks to all of you for your kind words. And a special thanks to those who joined us for her gathering. A night of laughter, remembering her, and sharing our sadness as friends and family. It was very special. On behalf of the family, our thanks. Barbara Fruechte Patton Washington class of 67 bpatton@bioscrip.com

I just heard about Sarah the other day from Dian Nissen. I remember looking up to she and Dian as role models when I aspired to be as good as they were on trampoline. I'll always remember her grace and beauty as she spun and twisted high in the air. She truly inspired me. All my love...Kent
