Diana M. Berry, 69, of Cedar Rapids, died August 25, 2010 at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy following an extended illness. A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, August 30, 2010 at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Oelwein, Iowa.

Surviving are her children, Steve Berry and wife Leah of Ft. Worth, TX and Susan Beer and husband Eric of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Walker and Grace Berry and Issac and Addison Beer; her sister Wilma Siler and husband Harvey of Costa Mesa, Ca; as well as other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Diana Marie Berry was born February 24, 1941 in Arlington, IA the daughter of John and Faith Roquet. She married Wayne Berry in Cedar Rapids. She and Wayne had two beloved children. They were later divorced. She was employed at GE Capital in accounts receivable. She had a good sense of humor which was displayed with her latest car purchase which had flames depicted running down the sides of the vehicle. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests all memorial contributions be directed to Hospice of Mercy in Diana’s honor.
