Coletta F. Boeding, 77, of Cedar Rapids died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at St. Luke’s Hospital following a brief illness.

Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Friday, March 19th at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home with a rosary at 4 pm and a vigil service at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 20, 2010 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Winthrop with Rev. Donald Plamondon officiating. Visitation will be held an hour before the service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Winthrop.

Survivors include her children, Gregory (Laura) Boeding of Tipton, Vincent (Maria) Boeding of Anaheim, CA, Nancy (Ron) Harris of Middleboro, MA, Carl (Diane) Boeding of Colorado Springs, CO, Theresa (Tim) Meyers of Center Point, Linda (Paul) Keener of Las Vegas, NV, James (Shannon) Boeding of Cedar Rapids; 2 Brothers, John (Margaret Ann) Hogan of Winthrop and Marky (Nadine) Hogan of Independence, IA. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

Coletta Florence Hogan was born January 30, 1933 in Independence, IA the daughter of Mark and Florence (Gallery) Hogan. She worked at Farmstead Foods until their closing and she also enjoyed working and socializing at the Cedar Rapids Kernels games.

Memorials may be given in her name to St. Luke’s Hospice.
