Aunt Helen you will be greatly missed. Your enthusiastic laughter and smiling face would always light up a room. The love and caring you had for your family and friends was always present. You were so good about writing nice long letters and always signed them "All My Love"....and you truly meant it. We love you and know you will always be with us. Suzi & Buddy

I will miss Helen greatly. Her warm smile and enthusiatic approach to life will be with me always. She has been inspiring to me and I hope to live my life with half the joy and spunk she did. I am grateful to God for the time we had here and look forward to seeing her again in heaven.

For the family of Helen. Our friendship goes back MANY years. When Paul and Helen attended parties and dances with us. Wonderful memories. I'll miss getting the FIRST Christmas card right after Thanksgiving and reading about all the family, that she loved so much. Helen was beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. She'll be missed. Sincere sympathy to all of you. Kay & Jack McArtor

Cindy & Family: Shiela & Family: I have always said we should thank God every day for our memory. Our memories of your dear mom are beautiful ones for us. We met Paul & Helen in the 60s. Good times were always had when we all got together. Kay & Mac, Marguerite & Kenny, Nita & Lee and Jim and Sandy all have great memories. My bowling years with Helen were some of the best times of my life. We always shopped at Lindale Plaza first and then went bowling. Met afterwards at our sponsors place in Marion. Helen was one of the most sincere friends anyone could have. She adored her family and as Kay said, I will miss getting the first Christmas card from her and then Cindy. Helen and I could sit and talk for hours. (And we did.) Jim and I have been in Arizona for 40 years now and it seems like yesterday the phone would ring and it would be Helen. In all 40 years, she never missed sending birthday cards and even anniversary cards to Jim and me. I think that is something many people aren't fortunate to have in a friend. We had that in our dear, precious Helen. What a privilege it has been knowing her and being able to say she was our friend. Helen signified the word, "Friend." I never knew anyone who didn't like her and most loved her. Thank you, God, for sharing Helen with us and now she is home. Helen always said she wasn't afraid to die and that's because she knew you would be waiting for her in Heaven. Also, Paul, please give her a kiss for me. God bless you, girls, and always know what wonderful daughters, son-in-laws and grandchildren you all were to her. Oh how proud she was of every one of you. We love you, dear Helen. We have known Helen, Paul, Shiela, and Cindy for over 50 years. Our girls grew up together, and we have such wonderful memories of of the times we spent together. Wether it was a pinic, bowling, fishing,or playing cards. Oh, how we all loved the pinochle card games, New Years parties, birthdays, and anniversaries. The Halloween parties were the best. The trips to Las Vegas, and the vacations Helen and Paul took to California and stayed two weeks or more with us. What fun we had. We will cherish Helen's friendship forever. She was one of a kind, and a true friend. Her family and friends meant everything to her. Helen will be truly missed by everyone that knew her.She will be our angel from above watching over all of us left behind. Untill we meet again- Helen we love you.

In front of me is a beautiful green depression glass plate that Helen gave me for a wedding present in 1978. She was an absolutely beautiful role model for me my first year of nursing...so compassionate yet firm and such a wonderful laugh and sense of humor. I will always remember her. May God comfort all of you as you walk through this time of loss and grieving. Diane Thompson
