Bud and Marion lived across the street from us in Cedar Rapis for 13 years. They were wonderful neighbors and friends. Bud and our son Tim, were born on September 8th, the birthday of Blessed Mary also. .Bud used to say that all us good people were born on Blessed Mary's birthday too, and Good he was. God bless Bud and Marion and family

I still have many warm memories playing cards with Bud at Evelyns(Mo) house. He was always cheerful and full of laughs. My deepest condolences to Denny, Ted and your families. The last few months have been very trying for our families.Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathies to Bud's family. I went to school with Ted and Bud was my baseball coach for many years. And Bud was there helping out at my own dad's funeral in 1998, as I am sure he had done dozens of times. Rest in peace to a good man, father, coach and Marine. Semper Fi

Our family spent 13 years living across the street from the Kurts in my childhood years, They were like family. Bud was like an uncle. One time when my parents were both sick and Marian was helping take care of us, Bud brought over a big box of meat. He said he had to clean out his freezer. It turned out to be fresh steaks and burger. Thats the kind of guy Bud was. We were fortunate to have such wonderful neighbors. Bless the Kurt family.
