Edward Francis Sturgeon

JoAnn & Family - We were so sorry to hear of Ed's passing. What a blessing you have in knowing that Ed is rejoicing with our Lord and Savior. Gerald continues to wear the wooden cross that Ed made for him - a constant reminder of a friendship that continues on to this day. Our oldest granddaughter is being married in June and she told her grandpa (Gerald) that she wanted him to wear that cross he has always worn. We will be keeping you in our prayers and thoughts. God Bless Gerald & Karen Klaus "The Klaus Family Singers"

I rmemember singing at your church as a child. When Mom told me of your Dad's passing, the name stirred many wonderful memories that I had forgotten about. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

I too remember singing at your church as a child with my family. So many memories you forget about over the years until something like this happens. When I received my mothers email telling of Ed's passing, I was sadden by the news. Marion, Iowa may have lost a great man on Feb 20th, but heaven gained another angel. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Your entire family will be in our prayers.

JoAnn and girls, I was saddened to hear about the passing of Ed. So many years have gone by since we sang in your church. Traveling around singing we met a lot of people but very few resulted in such special friendships. Ed was a special man and I am honored to have shaken his hand. Our deepest sympathy.
