So sorry to learn about the death of Alice. Alice and I were first cousins and I always enjoyed getting to see her when she came to Mississippi. I believe the last time she was in Mississippi, she visited in our home. We will be thinking about you children. Jo Ann Hussey Reed and husband, Arthur Roy Reed of Tupelo, MS

Aunt Alice was the most beautiful and loving Aunt I have ever had .She was like my second mother to me when we lived in Iowa, She was always smiling and joking around , she could make you laugh and feel better no matter what kind of day you had.She loved her family so much and was so proud of each and every one of them. She will be missed so much, but also remembered for the wonderful person she was.My mother has told me about so many great times they had through out their life and she loved her so much and will miss her so much! Sandy, Don and Tony you are always in my prayers and I will always be here for you any time you need me.I love you all so much!

Sandy and Family - Matt and I were so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. She was with the group of women who helped serve dinners for Dostal Catering for many many years. They were all the most pleasant women to work with - always smiling and good workers and great company! It was great to have known your mother - it has been quite a while since we had the business, but I remember she and I had many good conversations.

Mom 44 years ago you took me in after my biological mother had passsed. I was 10 months old.You took on the resposability of raising another child.Over the years you tought me love compation and many other things you instaled in me.But one of the greatest gifts you gave me is the beleif in the Lord. You tought me that there is something much greater than anything here on earth, and even at our lowest moments in life when we felt the all mighty abondon us, he was right there. You were there to hug me good bye and cry when I went off to war twice. The look on your face and the love you felt I will never forget. When I lost both my sons you were ther to hold me tight, and tell me they are with the Lord now.Thank you for for being there in good times in bad. And as I told you before passed thank you for steping up to the plate and being my mother.I don't beleive in goodbyes, only so longs. So for now ma ma so long, and I will see you again someday in the Lords great kingdom. Yor son Donny.
