Daniel “Dan” L. Schooley, 44, of Cedar Rapids, passed away at home, Saturday, January 30, 2010. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel by the Rev. William Harnish. A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include wife, Sherri; children, Ayla (Jamie) Walker and Devin Schooley, all of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Brian and Trevor Mease; mother, Virginia (James) Joslin of Marion; siblings, David (Sherri) Schooley of Memphis, TN, Donald Schooley of Marion, and Dianna (Bobby) Lahue of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grand nephews; and many close family and friends.

Dan was born May 21, 1965 in Cedar Rapids. He married Sherri Walker there on May 21, 2004. He loved riding his Harley motorcycle but his greatest passion was his grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered as a jokester and a friend.
