Both Kent and I were deeply shocked and saddened to learn of Catherine's passing. As neighbors, we had many opportunities to share her and our love of cats as well as to share pleasant conversation. Catherine was always kind, thoughtful and respectful of everyone she knew and we will greatly miss our encounters with her here at Blair House. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and it is our profound hope that Thunder and Lightning have found refuge, safety and love.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Catherines passing. I had known her thru her parents and had the pleasure of being her hairdresser a few times. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.. You were her pride and joy.

Dear Clemens, My mother, Grace Mickelson, called on Monday to tell me about Cathy's passing. My first comment was, "Well that explains why I didn't get a Christmas card." I enjoyed hearing from her each year and seeing the pictures of Thunder and Lightening. I thought of her as the "Cat Lady" to my "Dog Lady". Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your sister.

As secretary for the class of 1965 from Wellesley College, I am shocked and saddened to hear of Catherine's death. I will include this sad news in the next Alumnae Magazine. Is there anyone who could write a short obituary for the back of the magazine? Do you know of any Wellesley friends with whom Catherine kept in touch? In any case, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I can be reached at the email address included above. CVH

Oh, Cathy, I am so sorry you are gone - no more Christmas letters about Thunder and Lightning. I will always remember you as a vivacious, irreverent college student. When the juniors on our corridor tried to hush us rambunctious freshmen by posting a Shhh... sign on the hallway door, you were the one who added the 'it' to their sign. And I so enjoyed your modern dance performances. I will miss you. Dory Meier
