Our condolence to the family. You will be in our thoughts and prayers in the coming days ahead. I knew Don from his visits to my work, CarQuest in Vinton. He always had a comment for everything!! I enjoyed waiting on him and his memory will always bring a smile to my face.

Our thoughts are with you as we will all miss Don. We visited with Don the end of December just before we left for Arizona at cafe 218 in Vinton. Sorry we can't be with you at this time. We will miss Don and seeing & talking many mornings a week at cafe 218. We never have had phone service in Vinton as good as when Don and Larry Hawkins took care of the whole town. God bless Don and your family.

Dearest Sister Phyl and family, Alfred Lord Tennyson in 1889 wrote: Crossing the Bar Sunset and evening star, And one clear call for me! And may there be no moaning at the bar, When I put out to sea. But such a tide as moving seems asleep, Too full for sound and foam, When that which drew from out the boundless deep, Turns again home. Twilight and evening bell, And after that the dark! And may there be no sadness of farewell, When I embark. For though from out our bourne of Time and Space, The flood may bear me far, I hope to see my pilot face to face, When I have crossed the bar. Be of good heart dear one. There is no more pain.

Phylis and family, I can remember many times that my Mother has told me that you, Donald and Mom were getting together to work on the family history books, I'm sure a good time was had by all and those are the most memorable. Good times, long past and in the recent years. So sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. Vana Williams, Vivian Williams son.
