I am deeply sadden by Dee's passing, as is all who knew him. This is a very hard note to write. I remember Dee's old "Coal Bucket" and now it reminds me of him. That old coal bucket gave many years of good service before it was put to rest. Like the old bucket, not being forgot about, I will never forget Dee and all the good years of service he gave his whole family!! Where he is headed he won't be needing a coal bucket either, they don't burn coal up there. John

I never had the oportunity to meet Dee, but knowing the character of his son Bill tells a lifes story of the compassion and support he had to have been to his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Our deepest sympathies on the loss of this loving father. Knowing that he is in a better place and no longer suffering can bring great comfort.

Dear De, You leave a large hole in the center of the Thompson family. You were the Patriarch, who left a precious legacy to your children Tom, DeAnn, Bill, Doug and Gary: humor, hard work, determination, fierce loyalty, generosity, and love. Those of us lucky enough to marry into your family were the daily beneficiaries of those qualities. No doubt, Heaven is a lively place now that you and Tom are hanging out there together!
