Dorothy I. Anderson

I will miss Aunt Dorothy so much. I will fondly remember all of the Christmas Eves that we talked and laughed.

My husband had dialysis at the same time as Dorothy. I enjoyed talking to her. She had lots of stories about old Cedar Rapids. I was so sorry to hear about her passing. When she came back after her surgery she was not the same, we still sat and talked, but she was so sad, we tried to cheer her up at least a little. I gave her a blanket one day when they forgot to send her one. She was thrilled with it. She said it was so soft that she would sleep with it. Another day I took it to cover her up and she thought I was taking it, she about had a fit. I told her I would never take it away from her. Again you have our sincere sympathy. We will miss her and remember her for her wonderful spirit. Goodbye Sweet Lady!!!!

Dorothy was such an inspiration to all the dialysis patients. She always had a smile and cute stories, she seemed to enjoy the time she spent with her friend on Council street, She would converse on many subjects, some old some new but always with a smile. We all loved her a lot! She will be greatly missed! I am so sorry for your loss, and will be praying for your family

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family of Mrs Anderson. Though it has been over 30 years since I have seen her I have never forgotten how nice she was to me and made you feel like you were home.
