I worked with Bernie at the VFW in CR for years. She and Louie became a part of our family. My kids will never forget going rollerskating with Bernie. We had many camping outings and parties and her laughter could be heard for miles! She was a wonderful lady. We also had the joy of eating the best potato enchiladas around! In fact she used to make extra and bring them to me at work as we loved them for breakfast. Bernie will be missed. May the hand of God be over your heart during this time of loss......Kelly and family

Sorry to hear your mom passed away. I met Louie and Bernie at the Saldana's. She and Louie would be at some family function and the laughter would just be rolling out of the kitchen. When Bernie and Louie came by you knew the 'adults' were having a good time. It was wonderful to see the great photo montage of Bernie throughout the years...and especially nice to see the picture of Frances. Good People who knew how to have a good time. Keep your memories close and Bernie will always be nearby.

Hi.Sorry to hear about Bernie's passing. I worked with her for approx. 15 years at taft and those were some of the best years of my life. I learned so many things from her and just enjoyed working for and being around her. We just loved her so much and our thoughts and prayers go out to you her family and close friends..
