James C. “Jimmy” Railsback, 46, of 1516 Richmond Rd NE, died suddenly Friday, August 7, 2009. Graveside services and interment will be at 10 AM Wednesday in Garden of the Cross in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday in Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Surviving to honor his memory are his wife Rebecca “Becky”, daughter Kylie, step son Brett Moore, step daughter Amber Moore, his father and step mother Jerald and Judy Railsback all of Cedar Rapids, two brothers John of Palo and Joe of Cedar Rapids, three sisters Rita Duby and Janet Timm both of Cedar Rapids, and Kim Railsback of Sonnet, Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his mother Gloria Railsback, and grandparents Cecil and Daisy Railsback.

Jimmy was born April 22, 1963, in Cedar Rapids. He was a truck driver for Liebe Trucking. He married Rebecca (Becky) Moore on January 1, 1999 in Cedar Rapids.

Jimmy was a loving and caring husband and devoted father, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial fund has been established.
