To Michael's family, Michael was truly a special person to me. Loving, kind, generous can't begin to accurately describe him. I only had the priviledge of knowing him for a short time, however he made a lasting impression on me, which will never be forgotten. Michael, I never got the chance to tell you just how much I still love you. I'll always remember us sitting in Xaviers, eating artichoke pizza and buffalo wings talking about someting or maybe nothing at all. You taught me so much and for that I will always be greatful. I was saddened to learn of Michael's death on Monday. He was always known for his sense of humor, love of music and his welcoming spirit. Mike always brought a smile that told a story and a laugh that filled any room. My heart goes out to Michael's family and friends during these difficult times.It really is hard to put into words how much he meant to me as a friend.If we weren't laughing in an animated manner about a silly moment that one of us experienced that day,we were talking about the flood or our families or setting around my fire pit in the yard burning marshmellows.He always wanted to know how things were with you because he tru'ly cared.Michael was sincere,honest and the one person I always turned to for advice.He cared deeply about his friends and opened his heart and home to those that needed healing.In highschool we bonded because we shared the same interest in music,fashion and humor. I was lucky to have continued that bond and to have shared such special moments with him. When you think of Michael,smile and look up because he is looking down on all of us with that grin we all have come to love.I will miss you very much.
