Alice Elizabeth Wallace
Although I lost touch with Alice in recent years, I have fond memories of our friendship, especially through the Marion Business Girls when I was a member 1944-45. I had not remembered that she was one of the founding members of that group but I appreciated the friendship of all those wonderful women during the war years who helped teach me to dance before I entered college while working at the Marion Sentinel. We had many good times at the meetings and activities. Condolences to Alice's family members. I am currently writing my memoirs and the Marion Business Girls organization are included as an important memory.

Once when I was visiting someone at a care center near my home Alice came in with a puppy for the patients to pet. The joy of the clients in the home spread through the home like an ocean wave. I also remember when Alice proudly introduced me to her cats, describing their character and habits in particular, loving terms, and with great pride. She was a wonderful person and a great neighbor. I miss her!

Alice was so special to me as I have known her almost all my life. She used to babysit me and I stayed at her folk's farm in the summer. Alice was so kind and always interested in my family remembering my kid's names even many years later. I loved her dearly but glad her fight against her pain is over and know that Heavenly Father greeted her with open arms. My condolences to all who were special to her
