I only had a very short time to know Bert, but she has left a big hole in my heart. What a nice lady. A wonderful smile. She couldn't talk to me. but she was able to let me know what she wanted. She will be missed by a lot of people, including me. I am grateful I have had this time with her and all the family.

Dear Joe & Laura, You already know how my heart is always filled full with love for you both, but you may not know how it swells today with each beat while I am thinking of you at this time of loss, especially while I revisit each of my own memories you have shared (with me) of your Mom over the years. It is hard wandering through grief, and one of the most helpful steps you will find throughout your grieving process is sharing. Share often (with one another) of the blessings that you all have in common about your memories (with her individually or as a group) and remember to do this often! It takes time, but you will find yourselves taking comfort knowing she is enjoying a full life where she is now.
