Alice A. Miller, 94, a resident of Willow Gardens Care Center in Marion, died there Saturday, June 27, 2009, following a short illness. Services will be held at 9 AM Tuesday in Cedar Memorial Park Funeral HOme. Rev. Lloyd Brockmeyer of St. Paul's United Methodist church will officiate. Burial in Springville, Cemetery. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home after 8:30 AM on Tuesday.

She is survived by her brother Dale Brown of Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers Forrest and Norman.

Alice was born July 13, 1914, at State Center, Iowa, to Clayton N. and Noble Alice Fertig Brown. She was married to Merle Miller who preceded her in death. She was a Rate Clerk for the Rock Island Railroad for over 25 years.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Springville United Methodist Church.
