Darlene M. King

Mark,Jeff, Greg and family Dad let me know this morning about your Mom---I am so sorry to hear that, but, as corny as it sounds, take comfort in the fact that she is with her Lord. I've been thinking about the times spent with her and your Dad----lots of good ones, lots of good ones.

Jeff, I was so sorry to see that your mother had passed away. She put up a long courageous fight and she is at peace now. Don and I enjoyed getting to know her and watching the races with her at Hawkeye Downs. She was a sweet lady.

Mark, I never had the pleasure of meeting your mom, but she must have been one heck of a woman to have raised a person such as you. God bless you and your family.

Mark,Jeff,Greg: Robin and Dad let me know about Darlene. I recently called Darlene when I was home in Cedar Rapids and I am glad I had a chance to talk with her. I remember all the times Mom and Dad spent with Roy and Darlene and the great friendship our Mom's had. It was difficult when we went through this with Mom last year but her suffering and pain finanlly came to an end and the same is now true for your mother. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this very difficult time. Your parents are together once again! Renee

Your mother was a wonderful lady and so easy going with the many ailments she had to deal with. It was a pleasure knowing her and to hear her talk about her family and how much you all meant to her. It was our pleasure to help her in her home last year, our staff truly enjoyed their time with her. Our thoughts are with all of you during this time. Karen & Dave Huber
