I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death can cause grief we feel we will never recover from. Even Jesus wept when his friend Lazarus died. Death is just unnatural for humans. Eccesiastes 3:11 The Bible does offer hope that gives comfort for us. Jesus promised at John 5:28, 29 -"Do not marvel at this because the hour is coming in which all those in the memeorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." But what will they come out to? Again the Bible answers in 2Peter 3:13 where it states, "But there is a new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise and in these righteousness is to dwell." So, our loved ones will come back to an earth full of righteous people and they have the hope of living forever under paradise conditions. Psalms 37:10, 11 and 29 assures us, "And just a little while longer and the wicked one will be no more. . .But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth. . .and will reside forever upon it." I hope these brief thoughts serve as a comfort for you and your family at this time. With Sympathy, Freida Cowan
