Michael Aldridge, 44, of 6515 Parkview Dr SE, died Monday June 8, 2009 in the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy from a short battle with cancer. Services: 1:00 p.m. Friday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. The Rev. William B. Harnish will officiate. Friends may call on Thursday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4-7 and after 12:30 p.m. on Friday at the chapel.

Survivors include his mother, Linda, two brothers, Roger and Randy, a sister, Carolyn (Steve) Carnicle, 3 nieces, Lisa (Nathan) Armstrong, Amanda Carnicle (Charles) Tiffany (Chad) Carter, his aunt, Dorothy (Earl) Swhabe, three uncles, Carson, Van and Alvin Aldridge. Also surviving are many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Basil, and sister, Cathy.

Michael was born April 18, 1965 in Cedar Rapids, the son of Basil and Linda Aldridge. He loved the outdoors fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting and his dog Buddy.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A memorial fund has been established by the family.
