Anna M. Yuza Frimml, 87, of Cedar Rapids, died May 5, 2009 at Northbrook Manor Care Center following a brief illness. Funeral Mass will take place 10:30 AM, on Monday, May 11, 2009 at St. Jude Catholic Church. Rev. Michael Podhajsky will officiate. Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 10, 2009 at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include her son Steven A. Yuza and wife Linda of Cedar Rapids, step-daughter Myrna Riha and husband Duane of Longs, SC, step son Dick Heiderscheidt and wife Elaine of Dubuque, as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Arnold J. Yuza, second husband Lloyd Frimml, and step-daughter Teresa Ellingrod.

Anna Margaret Yuza Frimml was born March 17, 1922 in Lone Tree, Iowa the daughter of John and Anna Margaret (Dunn) Huff. She married Arnold J. Yuza on March 24, 1943, he preceded her in death on October 20, 1968. She married Lloyd Frimml on May 23, 1970 and Lloyd preceded her in death on March 26, 1997. She worked as a supervisor at Turner Microphone and Seig’s and also was a full time homemaker. She was deeply devoted to her family and greatly enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Mercy or to St. Jude Catholic Church.
