Hazel Irene Pettit
Dear Andy and family, Although we knew the time was drawing close Sunday when we came by the Hospital, Marie and I are truly sorry Andy you had to let her go. The last 13 years have been an important time for you two. And indeed her crown of righteousness is certainly awaiting for her. May God's love and blessings abound for you and your family. My Dear Andy, I was so sad to hear of Hazel's death but, in a way, relieved that she is now in a place of peace. I have known you two since 1948, I think. Hazel was always the most beautiful person, inside and out. I alwsys wanted to be like her. Andy, you deserve so much. Taking care of someone you love for so long is such an incredible thing. I admire you for doing that and hope my husband and I, if the need be, will be able to do the same. We wish you the very best in your remaining years, Andy. When we get to Iowa, we will see you, for sure. Love, Kaye and John

I was so sad to hear about Hazel. I remember taking mom to see you both before mom passed away which was 10 years ago. We both sure enjoyed visiting with you. Please know that you are all in our thoughts.
