Doug and I want to share with you how much Ruthie's warm and sparkling smile and her kindness have meant each time we met you. Our first meeting was on 30th Street NE all those years ago and what pleasant neighbors you were. Over the years we've enjoyed seeing you at New Covenant and elsewhere. God bless all of you and may you find joy and happiness in your memories and in the knowledge that those who count Christ as their blessed Savior will be united in heaven one day soon.

We will always remember Ruthie as a caring and fun woman who loved her family and friends but mostly loved Jesus with her whole heart!

Ken & family, I am so saddened to learn of Ruth's passing. I worked with her when Collins started hiring again after the big downturn in the early '70s. She was always such a joy to have with us at the breakfast with applicants and their spouses. I remember fondly that she always ordered a poached egg (I called it a "pooched" egg) on dry toast, and it got to the point where I would just order for her. She was a wonderful lady! My prayers are with you all. Warmest regards, Stan Huff

Ken and Ruthie started as our customers and then became our friends. Ruth was such a swseet, kind person with a quick smile and wonderful laugh. We will remember her with great tenderness and appreciation for her mark in this life, as a kind, Godly woam who cared about others. She will be missed by many as she was such a blessing to us all. She now dances with Jesus and the heavenly hosts.

Dear Ken and family: I worked with Ruthie for many years at Rockwell's Human Resource department. She was such a joy to be around and represented Rockwell to all of our applicants. We will certainly miss Ruthie and her wonderful smile and compassion. May God Bless. Justine Beaver

We met Ken and Ruthie at Bethel Baptist years ago and we have so many wonderful memories of them. We moved to Wyoming but were still able to keep in touch and in September they were able to attend our 50th anniversary open house at our son's home near Solon. I'm so grateful we got to see Ruthie that one last time. None of us will will ever forget her infectious laugh (Ruthie without a smile-never) and her kind and loving spirit. That smile has been taken from us all way too soon but God must have needed some laughing in heaven. She will be missed and our prayers are with Ken and the boys and their families. Though Ruthie is rejoicing with the angels today, she leaves a very empty spot here on earth. She was loved by everyone who met her I am sure-how could you not! WE send our love and prayers to her family and will be there in our hearts with you.

Mr. Brown, Steve, Jeff and all the Brown family...we are so sorry to hear of your loss. Mrs. Brown was such a lovely woman. She always had a smile on her face, even though we were teenagers - way back when. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you.

Dear Ken and Family: I was certainly saddened to hear of Rutie's passing in this message from the church. I had not been seeing either of you at the church for sometime however our attendance times were different. Ruthie was such a pleasant person to be around and always with a smile and words of cheer and kindness and we will all miss her. I know that Ruthie was a devout Christian and loved the Lord and it was always displayed in her greetings and in her life. My prayer and wish for Ken and the family is for the loving arms of God to be wrapped around you and bring you peace and comfort during this hour of grief as this dark cloud passes. We want to express how much of an influence Ruthie was in my life. She was a godly woman who encouraged me to follow after Christ simply by her example. I am thankful to God for the years that I knew Ruthie. We will truly miss her.

Dear Friend Ken. No one made me happier than Ruthie. Running in to her in the most unusual places - like walking across (tresspassing???) a large green space in a upscale condo area...who should I run in to but Ruthie (and you, too). She always had a warmth in her voice, her eyes and her demeanor that radiated good will, best wishes and pure joy at seeing someone. She was a true people builder. It was my good fortune to have known her and I am a better person for having her as a role model. I, too, have lost a very good friend. Kindest regards - Mary Ames on 4/5/2009

I was so sorry to hear of Ruthie's passing. Ruthie meant a lot to me growing up at Bethel Baptist Church in Marion. She was always very kind and loving and always had time to spend with people. She will be missed, but I hope her and my mom are having a good time in Heaven together! Ken, Steve and Jeff, my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.

The three of us were located in the salon where Ruthie got her hair done, and got to know her after noticing the lady with the beautiful smile. After we got to know her a little bit better, we realized that that smile of hers was a true reflection of the person inside ! We were saddened to hear that she was ill, and know she will be missed by many. condolences to the family.

We were so sorry to read of Ruth's death. She was always the sweetest person and we always enjoyed talking to both Ruth and Ken whenever we saw them. One time we went to San Diego for a MTT convention and Ruth and Ken were there, Ruth and I were able to spend our days together and had a great time, especially in Mexico. I'll always have those memories. We were sorry to not make it to her visitation or funeral, we had a rough week with a neighbor girl (22 yrs.old) dieing suddenly so we were exhausted but our prayers are with you and so very sorry for your loss! We are so glad she's in heaven and free of cancer now! Wilz Family
