So sorry to hear of Alvin's passing.It was a real honor knowing him and Elaine.We spent many hours together when we were attempting to get a Casino in town.I know that the family are really going to miss him,and he hads alot of friends who are going to miss him too.You might say that he was everyones hero.

My condolences to Elaine, Susan, JoAnn, Karen, Lauren and families on your loss of Al. My memories go as far back when Al and Evelyn joined our "Canasta Club" that was popular at that time.I remember him in high school [Svaty Vaclav] even though he was a couple years ahead of me. All my memories having to do with Al are good memories. My sister. Sister Mary Ann Shimek RSM is also in Hallmar and she has told me that he had asked about me several times when they would all gather for meals. I am unable to get around anymore, so this will have to be my farewell to him. Solong Al and Semper Fi.
