Sorry for your loss. Aunt Irma was a great aunt that I do remember. Her smile and tenacity. Once at the Norman campout I had told the kids that were very small that we were going to have a wonderful time. While we were on a hayride, my little boy, Sean, said "Are we having fun yet?" That really tickled Aunt Irma and we still say it at the campout! I remember "What's an IRma?" and also coming to Iowa once and swimming with Donna and Doug in the pool.

Doug & Donna, I'm so sorry to hear of your moms passing she was a very dear neighbor and friend to our family for over 30 years! I have many wonderful memories of visiting at the kitchen table (hers or ours)! I will miss her Christmas cards as well as "running over to see Irm" the next time I'm in CR, but I know she is at peace with Vince and free of her ailments. May you be blessed with peace during this difficult time knowing how many lives she touched!

I first met Irma & Vince as fellow walkers at Westdale Mall. We've kept in touch occasionally since then and I always knew one of my first Christmas cards every year would be from Irma. Sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Gail Gevock

Irma will continue to live on in my heart and memories for a long time to come. She touched my life with her love of the Lord and with humor. Her zest for life was amazing to me, I was fed by her energy and wittyness. There was never a dull moment when she was around, never really knew what was going on in that mind of that women, but you always knew it was good with a sprinkle of naughtyness. Good hearted woman with much love for all. She was able to take any situation and put it into perspective with the right outlook on it. No matter what was handed to her, she always came out smelling like a rose. I will miss her, but knowing that she will be in heaven reunited with the ones that have gone before her- gives me great comfort that we will someday see each other again. The imprint that she left on my life, I will carry with me always. I will miss her emails, her smile and her. God has truely bless all of us that have known her, and now He gets to have her at home with HIM. I am thankful that she was shared with me in my life. To the family: I pray for you during this difficult passage. I know first hand what it is to loose a mother that has touched so many lives. Embrace the memories of all the good times, and let the bad ones go. The glory of GOD shall reign forever. She is in HIS light now and forever, for this I rejoice. GOD Bless you all.
