Robin, Kenny & Shari, I am so sorry to hear the news about your mom! I enjoyed watching the video and I could pick out her beautiful face in each photo! Although we lost touch as the years went by I'll always have fond memories of all the days I spent with you and your family. Shari, do you remember the week that we ate so many green apples that your dad had picked that we would just lay in the basement because we were too sick to do anything else. I can still remember your mom saying "you girls should have known better" ! Then there was the summer when I think we spent the whole time in your room playing with our "Dawn dolls", until your mom would make us go outside! Those were the days, running the neighborhood without cell phones and just knowing when to be home. Thanks for sharing your mom she had a heart of gold and made a difference in the lives of so many of us. May the Peace of the Lord be with you all!

Shari, Robin, Kenny, and family. Although we have all been aware of the nearness of your Mom's passing, it is still difficult to let go of someone we love so much for all of our lives. But we all thank God for the incredible faith that Betty displayed right to the very end. She was a very beautiful and eligant lady in both her apperance and most importantly her spiritual walk. Nanc and I are in Greece and cannot be there physically, but our hearts and prayers are with you all. May God's richest blessing be with all of her family as they forever cling to and support each other as I know this was Betty's hearts desire. We love all of you. Vic and Nanc

Robin, Kenny & Shari, our deepest sympathy. Your Mom will be greatly missed. I have fond memories of growing up in CR, it is hard to believe that I left there over 30 years ago. Time passes so quickly. I remember spending time at your home and enjoying the relaxed and fun atmosphere. There was always laughter. Betty was a special lady and made a positive impact in my life. She has now seen Jesus face to face and there is comfort in knowing that she is still interceding for you. May God be with you during this time.

Robin, Shari, Kenny and family. It is with sadness that we read Betty's obituary in the newspaper. Although we lost touch, Betty was special to us. Many times we talked and thought about her. Ryan remembering the shopping trips to Westdale Mall with Betty and Robin and all the gummi bears he got to eat. Keith and I will always remember her love, kindness and words of wisdom. We are thankful to have known Betty and couldn't have asked for a better person to care for Ryan when he was a baby until we moved to North Liberty in 1989. She was a wonderful, loving and caring lady to everyone she touched and will live on in our hearts and memories. May her love and unselfishness shine on forever and your warm memories sustain you in the days ahead.
