Wayne Haggin

I am saddened to hear of Wayne's passing. He was our bus driver at Monroe School for many years. The care and concern he had for our students was well beyond his "job". He periodically would bring his famous Pecan pie to the office girls and then would tease us about watching our weight. It was good bantering back and forth. I will miss him....

I never knew Wayne until later in his life, but he became a real good friend while driving the school bus. Wayne did like that job as I did and we really bonded for that reason. He will be mised. Larry Palmer

My sympathy to Wayne's wife and family. I was a school bus attendant and rode with Wayne for several weeks. He did indeed love the kids and his "bus job".

Cheryl, Pete and Sarah, To have known Wayne was to have found a friend for life. The first day that I met him was just as warm and casual as when I had known him for over 25 years. Peace be with you and your family. Your friends at Cedar Rapids Lumber

Cheryl and family, Sorry to hear about Wayne. May God grant you peace at this difficult time. Cheryl, I will remember Wayne like a father as he made all of our St. Paul Church trips lots of fun!! The Spirit trips won't be the same without him. But remember this is the day that the Lord has made and he (Wayne) will rejoice always with us! Love you always, your friend and nurse Sara.:o).

Cheryl, Our thoughts are with you and the family. Wayne was a very special person and part of the HMS & SDS Crew that will always be remembered. I made a point to look up Juan & Grace De Miguel from Roswell, GA that was a big part of Wayne's Life and they had already heard of Wayne's passing. We will be thinking of you in the days ahead. God Bless
