Erlinda R. Licup, 70, of 439 Lindale Dr., Marion, died Saturday, January 24, 2009, in Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, following a long illness. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM Monday in the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 4401 42nd St. NE, Cedar Rapids. Pastor David Bissell will officiate. Private inurnment in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the church after 10 AM on Monday. Arrangements by Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Survivors include her children, Kathy (William) Larson of Cedar Rapids, Dennis Licup of Hiawatha, Roli Licup of Phoenix, Arizona, and Belinda (Benny) Marin of Kirkland, Washington, two sisters Lourdes (Roberto) Singson of Chicago, Illinois, and Yolanda Romeo of Tempe, Arizona, a brother Ricardo (Leticia) Romeo of New Jersey, and seven grandchildren, Joey, Christy, Alyssa, Aaron, Mitchell, Jessica, and Jenna, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Emiliano Romeo Jr.

Erlinda was born February 10, 1938 in Manila, Philippines, to Emiliano and Felicidad Ignacio Romeo. She was a dietician and had owned Oriental Gourmet, a restaurant in Arizona. She attended Milestones in Marion, and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
