Carol E. Morrissey

I miss you Grams, but you are with the Lord now. We will meet again someday in Glory! I Love You. Revelation 21:4 "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Ephesians 2:4-9 "But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions - it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast." ~Your little angel...

Aunt Carol, I am so glad you were my aunt. You taught me so much, like how to never say "I can't" and to live life to the fullest. You had a huge heart and was always there for others. I will never forget the fun we had in Greece and Ireland. I will raise a Guiness to you like we did in Dublin. If you see Budy, give her a hug and watch out for her. I love you Carol!

Carol will be greatly missed. I had a great time working with her at Sam's Club and even after I still called and sent greetings by mail. I am saddened that she is no longer among us but am relieved to know she is in a better place. She was a great person and I will miss her.

Hello Morrissey Family, I knew Carol from her volunteer time at Mercy Iowa City. She told me that she had lung cancer but I thought with her spunk she would be with us longer. She was extremely helpful, fun, and very professional at the Mercy front desk. I knew little about her but I always enjoyed talking with her and seeing her in action. You have had a very special person so your loss will be rough. Please know that I will light a candle in honor of her. She was definitely one of a kind. Best regards, Mary C.
