My heartfelt condolences to all of Uncle Harlons children and extended family as well. I was very honored to be a member of the Moneypenny family for a number of years and to have gotten to know and love Harlon and Betty as well. Stopping in to "The Coffee Club" to visit with them along with Jim and Donna, and Nelda and Charles, I heard many fun stories. It was a pleasure taking Harlon sometimes up and back from the cabin where he shared with me many stories. His experiences of the war, his love for Betty and how after she caught that first fish she was always ready to go! He shared how he was the eldest living person in Hiawatha, his cooking secrets, that Evan was his favorite, and how he always got the job done, one tiny step at a time-no big deal, it was never any big deal. Uncle Harlon was an amazing man and I am certainly a better person for having known him. My sympathies for sure go out to Donna and Jim Moneypenny too, for lovingly and selflessly helping him every single day for whatever he needed. His deep faith taught me so much and I am so glad he is with Betty and Dennis now, catching the big one up in heaven. Mary Stillions

I miss you grandpa! I know that you're in a better place now. Free from pain and reunited with the love of your life and son. You were an amazing man. I'm proud to have had you in my life. This is not a goodbye, but I'll see you later. I love you!!!
