Starlyn S. “Star” Moore, 50, of 435 Norwick Road SW, died at St. Luke’s Hospital, Tuesday, January 13, 2009, after a long illness. Private Services will be held. Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Star is survived by her husband, Greg; father, Robert Hansen; and sister, Mickey Hansen, both of West Liberty.

Star was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ellen Hansen.

Star was born on July 20, 1958 in Mt. Pleasant. She married Gregory Moore in New London in November, 1995. She was an insurance salesperson. Star loved to garden and was a gourmet cook. She had a special eye for fashion and decorating. In her spare time she liked to sew and do crossword puzzles.
